Beach Boys Posters

Here are two outstanding, classic Beach Boys concert posters from the group’s first promoter, the esteemed and loveable Fred Vail. The green & blue poster is from the summer of 1963 – what a sweet spot in their early career – and has marvelously innocent wording on it, such as a 2:15 PM show that’s described as a “Children’s Pre-Teen and Young Teeners Matinee - $1.25 – Parent Admitted Free With Child.”

And the yellow & red poster is from Christmastime 1963 and carries the exciting message, “This Concert will be Recorded for future release as a Capitol Album!!!” We’ll say it was – some of this show was compiled on the Beach Boys In Concert album which became the group’s very first #1 LP the following year!

Both cardboard posters are 22x28” jumbos.
