Poster People
The idea of this section is to “put a face” on poster collectors, telling everyone who you are and exactly what you collect. What makes our approach unique is that a picture of yourself is required! Everyone will be represented with a head shot, followed by all of their collecting wants, etc. and contact information. We know that some collectors won’t want to play along, but it’ll be a fun (and productive) section for those who do.
Dealers are welcome, because they’re “poster people,” too, but the focus here is individuals, not companies. We’re happy to offer this service scot-free, but we draw the line at advertising competitors’ Web sites. So please leave all URLs out of your profile.
E-mailed photos are preferred, but we’ll accept mailed-in snapshots as well (to PO Box 3045, San Luis Obispo, CA 93403).
Postercentral.com reserves the right to follow-up on anyone’s information to verify its veracity. The integrity of this section will best be upheld if it’s approached with a degree of sincerity. We like cyber-goofiness as much as anyone, but Poster People would be compromised if folks ran a picture of their great uncle or their pet, instead of themselves. Save your avatar for the chat rooms.
